Zambia

The Republic of Zambia is the largest landlocked country in Africa and became independent in 1964. The country has mineral resources, some of which is Gold, so has a thriving mining industry, and a fast-growing economy.

Zambia begin to mint and issued its own coins after independence from the UK, with its beautiful and highly sought after commemorative pieces being struck from 1979.
